MORTARA STARTS WORK WITH HIS NEW TEAM
 French-Italian driver Edoardo Mortara has been getting to know the Signature team better, with which he will race in the 2007 Formula 3 Euroseries.
Mortara visited the factory in Bourges, south of Paris, in order to have a seat fitting in his Dallara-Mercedes and meet some of the people he will be working with this year. After an extensive factory tour and some workshop training with his engineers, Mortara headed to Italy in order to resume his regular fitness training programme. With the help of Quadra Sports, Mortara will be put though his paces in a week-long regime designed to help him reach peak condition in time for the start of the season.
The 20 year-old will be heading back to Bourges shortly in order to move into his new flat close to the factory, before testing his car for the first time this year at Nogaro on February 28. Mortara¹s first race meeting will be at Hockenheim, Germany, from April 21-22.
Mortara said: ³Having spent a long time looking around the factory, it is everything I expected and then some more. I would like to thank the team principal Philippe Sinault for making me feel so welcome: I have a very good feeling about the year ahead, It was good to meet everyone I will be working with and we had a very good rapport straight away. It was exciting but also frustrating to have the seat fitting, as now I just want the season to start straight away! My fitness training is a crucial part of this important period of preparation: with the help of Quadra Sports I can feel myself growing physically and mentally stronger.²
